“And Jesus went forth, and saw a great multitude, and was moved with compassion toward them, and he healed their sick.” (Matthew 14:14)
Following the example of the Lord Jesus Christ, Evangelist Dag is truly passionate about demonstrating the love of God, with a heart full of compassion for the poor, the sick, orphans, widows and prisoners.
As a medical doctor, Dag Heward-Mills has seen countless heart-breaking conditions that most people would avoid dealing with, but as a man moved by Jesus’ compassion the Evangelist has been on a mission to meet people at their point of need both spiritually and physically. Together with his team of professionally trained and qualified doctors, nurses and pharmacists, they diagnose and treat patients free of charge.
The ministry of Bishop Dag Heward-Mills has also established many schools in under-privileged communities and run a successful ‘Help the Helpless Charity’ that reaches thousands of poor people in various complex situations. Rev. Mrs. Adelaide Heward-Mills, the Evangelist’s wife, runs and manages the ministry’s thriving orphanage built and structured in a way to replicate a home environment.
